Specification
Most software applications will begin as a flow chart showing how the application should run through each routine.
Embedded control and monitoring applications are typically coded in a mixture of C and/or assembler. Most of the programming is done within an integrated development environment. These will typically include editor, build and debug tools within a standard tool.
